Question Montana 600

I've done alot of looking and just have a couple questions that maybe you guys might be able to answer.

I'm pretty confident that I want the Montana, but i do not want to spend the extra coin on the 650t. The only differences I can see are the camera (of which I could care less) and the preloaded map.

So what map comes on the unit out of the box if I got the 600? Or do I have to go buy the NA map for $80 which brings the price up to $550?!

I want to use it on the bike both for road and off on the trails. Do you need the NA map for turn by turn?

I read some more and it sounds like the 650t comes with the TOPO 100k preloaded but not the city nav which would give you the turn by turn.

I guess my biggest question being new to this sort of GPS is when I put in a way point on the 600, will it give me a route from my current location following the roads? I've only had Nuvi's before so this is all new to me. My apologizes.

I believe the 650t also has more memory.

The base map is fairly useless. You pretty much need the City Navigator maps or you just bought a brick for on road use. I also suggest you pop for the lifetime updates.

You need City Navigator maps for turn by turn guidance.

Yeah, I just figured that one out too. And just double checked your right the 650t has 3.5GB the other two only have 3GB.

That's 3.5 GB free, not including the space taken up by the Topo map. It actually has about 7Gb of storage.
