Sure, we're always glad to meet new faces. Just arrive early if you want to ride, or around fire lighting time if you just want to hang out.

Tom, did you find out exactly what happened? Was it tech error or something broke? Sucks for sure. I know how meticulous you are just from talking to you.

If it was tech error, it was me. The one thing that I didn't do is remove the flywheel and timing chain, to measure it for stretch. It ran so well during the break in run... maybe jumped timing and the piston hit the valves

How can I pass my quad off as wheel chair? Don't think a scooter would work.

Fixed.

But I'm not sure how much fun that would be, it seems to spend an awful lot of time spinning in one place.

I'm leaning towards camping off the 990 for this one.

I'm also still planning on fishing the two days prior to the event, and hope to bring a good amount of fresh fish to cook and share. Anyone like clams? I got a new clam rake that I want to try out as well.

I bet on the tensioner failing rather than a stretched chain. It takes a lot to stretch out those chains but then Again, my experience is automotive. Anyway, that sucks.
