Just got back from 1 week camping and then I have my Adirondack weekend 8/2 so can't make it.

Might swing by but just in case

Go In Good Health and hope for your dreams to play out

Matt, sorry to see you go. Thank you for your service!!
I am planning on a Saturday mid morning arrival, with BObQ in tow. Is it safe to assume we will still find someone at the campsite? Will not be staying for dinner despite the delicious burgers on the menu..... (I may have to rethink that :) )

Well, since mrt10x can't ride due to a broken leg, he'll probably be around unless he wants to ride on the back of the scoot And with this heat, everyone will be needing a break by noontime to cool off.

yes I will be sitting there reading a book.. or at the lake fishing. My leg is feeling substantially better, I can put full weight on it.. but I am trying to resist walking on it until the doc gives me the go ahead.

Not sure how you can resist, maybe you're just saying that because this is a publik forum???

I can probably arrange for a canoe or kayak to be there for your use, if you'd like.

I'm in!

not sure when or how long since I just got back from a week long trip, but looking forward to it

Pondering weather to trailer a borrowed EXC (still here!) or ride the LC4

I'm in for 2 nights. I'm still planning in bringing a cooler full of perishable sea bounty to share on Friday night. Tonight is the first fishing night, planning on going tomorrow and Thursday too. Sat, I'm planning to go off and visit some people at a different campgroung, but I'll be back for the campfire. And I'm in for a dualsports ride on Sunday. The knobs are still hanging in there, may as well use them.

Given the weather forecast that would be great.. but only if it is really simple.. Don't want too much effort put in by anybody on my behalf. I can take a chair down to the pond and sit in the water

Just want to throw it out there.. if it continues to be blistering hot a one night BBQ somewhere might be an option .. trying to sleep in a tent when it is 80 degrees is not a ton of fun. My household goods will all be in boxes so I am sleeping on an air mattress/cot no matter what.. but I dont want to be the cause of anyones misery.

Let me see what I can do.

I own the canoe & gear, I just need a way to get it there.

I used to fish green falls back in the early 80's. Beautiful lake.

If I was a little closer....

fuck this hot weather! I think I may bring a kayak also, along with the bike. Perhaps a morning ride and an afternoon paddle... I may actually have access to a few other boats that are near the campground. If anyone is interested I can check. My parents have a kayak (or two) and a canoe and are located just south of Wyassup lake.. Assuming they'd be fine with lending them out it would be easy to run down and haul them back up to Green Falls..

I don't know if Rob or anyone is planning to bring a big tarp for group shelter in case of a rainstorm so I'll throw mine in my truck with the rest of my junk in case we need it. It sounds like some good downpours are likely sometime Friday / Saturday..
