2up Granite State getaway.

My wife got a little jealous of my week long BYOB getaway in West Virginia so we took a quick weekend trip to New Hampshire.
Ready to roll.

The river by the house is pretty high.

Tough to stay away from the dirt in Vt. I get side tracked easily.

Happy B-day America.

Got a little sloppy in the Thetford area.

She's a good sport.

Quick breakfast at Isabella's in East Thetford.

We went chasing some of the recent Tag-o-rama locations. Melvin Village has some cool vintage garages.

Franklin's are pretty interesting. We went to the national gathering last summer in Cazenovia NY. This one is sweet!

Tag #2. Chocorua Mountain near Albany New Hampshire. I got stung by a bee while taking this photo. It got in my suit at one point and got pissed off because the exit was not clearly marked. Ouch!

After 210 miles in 6 hours we arrived in North Woodstock. We stayed at the Autumn Breeze Motel. Walking distance from several worth while watering holes.

They use a lot of gas.

The general store museum in town has a maple sap area where all the evaporators seem to be made in Vermont. I guess we know who the king of Maple is.

What will day two bring. Stay tuned.

Day two coming up.

Day two.

The day starts with a nice Greek breakfast.

Another interesting tag location.

This tag required a short leg into Maine.

We stopped by the ADV candy store.

Really should have brought the second Givi but we managed to repack.

Next up, Mt. Washington.

We immediately came across a black bear mama and cub crossing the toll road. They were off the road by the time I got the camera out. They are on the right in this photo.

Made it! Visibility was good until 6000 ft. Pea soup at the top.

Back down.

We set the NH tag outside of Whitefield.

I'm running out of sticker space.

Guy, you were in my back yard! I ride around all those places as I am in North Conway. That is one trick out V-strom. I am sure Jeff at whitehorse was doing some tongue wagging!
