you may see mt Elbrus from there.. but if you want to get to the bottom of it w/o off roading, you must ride over 100kms..

sometimes you may see there really starving dogs :( that's so sad.. and no one willing to give them food.. i ask why?


this is where i intended to spend a night.. a guy from police comes (damn - now there is no longer militia, did you know that?) and says it's dangerous here..


so i spent a night by police station.. sorry for bad quality foto

I was invited for a tea and food by Achir and Basan. Achir (the older one) is also a dancer, he showed me video of their Kalmytskaya republic dances. Chengis Khan was their father - these people have been living in this part of Russia for 400 years.

I met two guys from Taiwan cycling to Sochi and then Europe. Respect ;)


And I meet Syergyey who has travelled from Moscow to Portugal and now to Altay. Wow..

Border do Kazakhstan was very ok. I entered KAZ at night so I just did my magic exercises and went to sleep. Roads were terrible.

In the morning I met Ferhad and Fariza. I think I fell in love.
