My first impressions of Kazakhstan:
-very bad roads
-cool people
-wind blowing from all the sides (funny when pissing)
-cheap gas (around 0,6 usd/liter)

Lots of camels. After a while they are no surprise.

I meet three guys from Ireland going on Cubs to Ulaan Baatar

I arrived to Atyrau. Then I found out I can't go north to Aktobe because road is SOOO bad. I need to go there via Uralsk which is some extra 400-500km

Cool thing about KAZ is that finding a place to sleep takes around 3 up to 5 seconds. You just go off the road and build your tent.

I received 8 snickerses from Ula for that trip. Each one of them for one week of the trip. I just ate 3rd of them. Thank you Ula! It was recently Ula's birthday so.... happy birthday

I met couple times Geir from Norway on his trip to stans and then back through Iran. Good luck!

So after some first kilometers when the road was really shitty now it's ok. I am going to Uralsk. There are some problems with cows - I saw twice truck hitting a cow and smahing it on the road Anyway, notice how they shoot the road signs

Temperatures are a bit crazy and no shadow to hide. But I must say I love it here in Kazakhstan. Much better than I expected.

It's always a good time for a ballet practice

It takes some time and effort but it's worth doing - no koltuns so far!

Going from Karatobe to Aralsk means around 400km w/o gas station and not much possibilities of buying a water. So I took some extra gas, lot of water and it was ok.

Mostly finding a shadow is quite tricky I must say.

And then the biggest shit of that trip - road to Kyzylorda means 400kms of crazy wind, lot of detours, trucks overtaking you like idiots etc. It was a crazy day. Lot of sand everywhere.
