1st Adventure R trip in NH!

I am back, spent and it was awsome! Hot today but I managed 210 miles on the KTM. Starting in North Conway I went south 16 to 113, to Sandwich Notch Trail. Had to get the big dirt bike alittle muddy! The bike is unbelievably controllable considering the size and displacement. New focus of throttle control as the LC8 will get you sideways FAST! Can you say TORQUE MONSTER!
Up to Waterville Valley for a cup of joe, down 93 to Plymouth. Highway speeds are no problem for the bike, excellent stability and really better than expected wind protection. Jerky and cheese snack on the University grounds, (my favorite roadtrip meal whether road or trail) then banging up Rt 3 to Franconia. Through Franconia center, up to Sugar hill, then gas in Littleton.
After fuel, across to Lancaster, then buzzed Rt 2 until Pinkham B road. More dirt! Southbound on 16 till Glen ledge road (wicked twisty with elevation changes in the curves), to 302, to upper West side then home. The seat is Adv R seat is decent till about 150, which I can live with for a while. Power is superb, handling awsome and lots of looks and comment on the big beast when I stop. Great day

Yeah, about that, how do I attach them. The reply options don't have the usual paperclip icon, and when I click on insert image, it asks for a url. Any help?

Thanks for the memories. Attended Plymouth State College beginning Fall '67! Most classes were held in that hall.
Glad you had a terrific day riding your 990!
Get out and do it again!

Nice trip. NICE bike.

You passed my office (Main Street, Franconia) and came within a couple miles of our home in Sugar Hill.

Haven't been over the Sandwich Notch in 3(?) years- how good/bad is it after the big storms that we have had in the past 2 years?

I was torn between watching the parade and riding, but since the bike is new, I rode! The notch trail was in great shape, I highly recommend it, along with the Pinkham B road. The notch trail is nice since its long, has great switchbacks, and really makes you feel like an adventurer!
