I take it the "Rossi is done after this year" theory is out of favor?

Gilding the lily.

I'm sure any of the top 10 can find a section or a track or a session where they were faster than anyone else and extrapolate that to a theoretical victory. For lots of reasons, Hayden is already riding the best package he is likely to get in MGP.

I'm pretty sure any rider in the field could win on the right bike and under the right circumstances, but Nicky IS a former champion, you know. He may not be an alien, but I think he would be a regular top 5 finisher and win a race here and there if the Duc wasn't such a truck in the corners. Just like Valentino. Who seems to be getting his mojo back, and I think Nicky could too. On the right bike.

Regular top five finishes and a race win here and there is exactly how he won his 2006 WC. I'm a fan of Hayden but the game has moved up a notch or two. I think now is his time to go be Ducati's hero in WSBK.

Well, yeah, I don't think he'll ever be champion again in MotoGP, too many aliens, now in WSB maybe.... I just think that the Duc makes all of the current riders LOOK worse than they actually ARE. He always was a consistent top five guy, and he still should be right behind the aliens, right there with Crutchlow, not mixing it up with frigging CRT bikes.

Bradl just doesn't seem to have that last few % that it takes to be mixing it up at the very front.

MM has a VERY rare talent to come from Moto2 and instantly be on the podium. I would be surprised if Pol is challenging at the front if he moves up in 2014.

What did CC say? Someone like MM comes along only about every 15 years.

Bradl, Smith, P.Espargaro, Iannone may get fast in MotoGP, but wait until MM really figures out the Honda. Tough to be compared to him.....

Remember when Marquez spanked the entire 125cc field starting from last grid spot after a crash in the sighting lap? And he´s handed out more or less the same treatment in Moto2 a couple of times??

I guess there was no doubt he was gonna be bloody fast in the big class, too, but what surprises me, is that so far he´s only ended a race in the kitty litter once (..and even then it was a 2nd place, that he threw away). This dude is totally amazing.

I suspect you may be right but he is under a lot of pressure and in the past that has been his undoing, I'm still wildly clinging to my Rossi prediction in my dreams but reality may be a bit disappointing.

All things being equal it should be Dani, Mark, Vale or Cal then Jorge and Stefan.

I predict a few highsides on the right hander and two very sore Honda riders taking the edge off their race, Cal will finally HTFU and pass Jorge, chasing Vale down for a last corner battle, Stefan will get on the podium and be mobbed by thousands of Germans in Lederhosen.

What's with the current rumours about Cal thinking of going to Ducati? I know he's a Pommie but I didn't consider him stupid, someone (David?) slap him hard and make him stay with Tech 3.

A couple people posted they think JLo will struggle because of his c-bone. Can't see it being much of an issue.

If earlier rumors are true CC may not have the choice of staying with tech3.

I'd hate to see Cal go to Ducati and go from being a podium contender to an also ran, just like every other poor bastard except for Casey.
