I mean, you are pretty much an Auto-In after the first two years,

Lexie the hooligan hound would keep you warm.
We offered her up to Mort, but he's not interested.
If you keep petting her, she'll keep you warm
If you give her food, she'll do....well.....just about anything

Wow, things move fast around here. I take a couple days off and miss out on five pages of Apple Valley Rally. . . After all the fun we had last year we wouldn't miss it, so please put Scarlet and I on the IN list!

Both days rides sound like a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to some uneventful forest soaring this year.

Since Dan can't be there this year, I'm happy to start the keg fund by adding $25 to the jar to get things rolling... Anyone else out there (besides Ladukebob) like the Double Mountain?

Hi Kent, good to see you're signed up.

In regard to the beer, personally i wasn't big on that brew last year, & it didn't seem to go down very quick. I can look into a Keg from this side of the Mtn, i did look at an Alameda last year, but the $ get up a bit with rental etc...
If people are keen, i don't mind organising it from this end, & do a collection at the rally.
I'm an IPA guy myself, but can lighten it up a bit if any other suggestions.

And...that's just me, so put up your ideas, lots of other tastes out there.

Squishy,
Big Horse Brew Pub can get kegs for us, I just talked w/ Randy, don't know the costs but it is in Hood River. I'll look into it and be in touch soon about details.
If this is good w/ you all.....
I sent a PM to Apple Jam, let's try to lighten Jeff's load on the extra stuff so he won't be so busy...

I was hoping somebody would step up for the keg(s).
I know it worked out for Dan last year, he told me y'all pitched in enough to cover his costs.

Shelly is off the Wednesday before and just offered to pick it up from town, is somebody covers it's costs. We've got several $100s of food & stuff to buy, we didn't want to add that to the list, so thanks for stepping up, boys. Plus, neither of us drink beer, so we certainly don't know what to pick.

Parkdale, 3 miles away, has Solera brewery. If you run out, it's a easy jaunt up there for more. They likely fill growlers too, dunno?

The Growler idea is a good one. If you have enough people interested in the same Beer get a small keg of that. For people that aren't into IPA or whatever gets the nod they can bring Growlers. The Growler craze is spreading like wild fire down here. The Walton store out past our place now fills Growlers, not much else in the store except Beer.
