Seating the tire bead

Usually when I change a tyre I hear a "pop" when the bead seats. Sometimes I don't. If the bead does not "pop" how can I tell it is seated properly?

Look at the lines along the sides of the tire along the edge of the rim to see if it looks even all of the way around.

Put the axle through the wheel, lay the whole thing between two jack stands and watch the bead lines for concentricity.

Tubeless pop..........most times...........tube tires may not pop.......just because of the rim and tire bead lock design.
