need a quick seat measurement

I'm looking at giving one of these a try:

http://www.amspecialtiesusa.com/gelpad.htm

I'm thinking that either the Large or Medium sized one is correct to fit the 1200GS ( stock ) seat. My bike is currently 250 miles away at my cabin, so I can't measure the seat. can someone do a quick measurement on the seat for me?

Thx

Stock seat is @ 16" long & 13" wide at the back (it tapers a little in the center)

Consider getting a GSA seat to replace your GS seat before you go that route.

The GS seat is hard as a rock.
The GSA seat has additional gel/foam and made all the difference in the world to me.

Other inmates... have you had the same experience when switching from GS to GSA seat?????
