That's good to know sintax,will do that as it has been in there for while. I remember advice from one guy I was test-riding his bike,he said he always drain carb with screw on the bottom.

I see the 18mm might allow for a little better MPG since the bowl would be a little less full and experience less spillage out of the overflow. Maybe someone will chime in that is more experienced than myself. I'd say on a 1-10 carb rating, i'd give myself a 6.

Yes better mpg less chance of overflow. There are oyher reasons im sure. All I know is the guru's say to set it at 18mm
