I am very sorry to hear this, Mountain.

I'll keep my eyes open, I know exactly what the bike looks like and I'm always around in the Denver area. It should be easy to spot with that custom seat.

All info on the bike noted and we will be on the look out here. I cannot express how gut punched I feel about thieves

Our prayers that some one sees the bike soon.
gale

Info on bike has now also been sent to Basin Motorcycle in Mancos and Fun Center , Durango

I think I'm aware of most of the parts outlets in the case of parting out or trying to sell even tho I doubt that is what will happen here. Detectives have confirmed that it's on the national theft registry so pawn or the like it should get flagged.

Thanks everyone.

I've been doing searches in my spare time while at work. I'm using

http://www.searchtempest.com/ to search all craigslist sites with in 750 miles of denver.

So far I only find one ad for an '08 husky in Boulder.

As I have been advised, when you put in the claim, make a detailed list of every item you had, including MSRP or a receipt, if you have them. It might not make them offer you any more, but it gives you the ability to respond with previously-stated factual evidence.

Regarding the insurance claim, if you happen to have misplaced receipts for the mods...don't most businesses keep digital invoices these days that could ask as the equivalent record? Surely they'd consider providing that favor for a customer who's seen better days.
