Might be a little late... but we posted the info on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/performancecyclecolo?ref=hl) so maybe there will be more eyes out for it. Sorry to hear about this. Keep us posted and let us know if there's anything else we can do for ya.

Just saw the post on FB and came here to let Mountain know more folks were looking out for him.

This is why I like giving you guys my business.
As you say it may be late but it is a nice effort none the less.

Cl add

Don't mean to throw anybody under the bus on this one and if this is an inmates add I apologize but the bike in the add looks very close to the the stolen bike; apart from the seat.

Hope you get your wheels back my brother and that the culprits rot in the ditch

That's my old bike. I told the guy I sold it to (not an inmate here AFAIK) that people would be on the lookout since it's same year. Had also PM'd mtne about it as have others.

Heh, Yeah. There's a few tell tells on mine. Besides the seat of course. Anything with the stock tail turd isn't mine as I destroyed my coming down Hancock a few years ago and it now has an aluminum piece for holding the plate and a single strip of LEDs for the tail/running light. Also the fuel pump manifold is tapped for quick release valved 90's as are the crossovers. Radiators have the red 7602 racing guards (oil filter cover too) and are filled with the non toxic blue stuff...... not much stock left on that thing

How can it be fun if there's not at least an outside chance of dying?

So six weeks on and no news about the bike. Insurance still hadn't contacted me regarding it as of last thursday...........

So I called them and they said they had received the info they had requested but done nothing with it (dropped the ball) and I should hear from them with a valuation next week. I'm sure they're going to say it was worth less than what it would take to replace even though it's replacement coverage....... we'll see.

Mountain, sorry for your loss

I haven't been in Rockies for a while and missed this thread back in July.

I hope the bastard that stole it gets what's coming to him.

Wanted to bump this up. I'm still hoping to get lucky and have this spotted and recovered.

Allstate was close with the number for the bike but said all the extras were preferential, and their for not considered. Well duh they're preferential I argued that the bike needed a little more value to be right and said they weren't even close with the add on stuff. ($20 for a custom seat for example ) She said they had comps but didn't know about ADVR and didn't use craigslist. So I asked where they found 08 TE610's for sale to get comps....... cause there's just not that many around, especially if you don't use CL. She said she'd check on things and get back to me the next day or two...... that was a week+ ago. Sigh.

So yeah, feels like my best bet for getting back on a 610 will be recovery. Even as low as those odds are.

Damn, sorry to hear about the mess. I wish you luck in the final outcome.

Once you finish up with Allstate, it sounds like you may want to shop around. There are plenty of other companies that will take your money and give you nothing in return, and they may even charge less for the service! (I think very little of insurance agents based on my last three agents.)

Saw this fella in front of a Grand Junction Allstate office a week ago. I had to take his picture 'cause I thought his means of getting even (even if only in his mind) were so ... American. Go man, GO!!!!!!

I was notified friday by CSP that it was found down by Pueblo. Went and pulled it out of impound the next day so the fees didn't grow. It's stripped down to bones but running...... since someone was pulled over on it I've a call into CSP to make sure they know there are parts missing and to make sure there's some follow through on the theft. Now to start the negotiations with the insurance company again to retain the bike.....
