Need Front Tire in Mexico

I would like to know where I can order a Heidenau K60 90/90 21 for a Triumph Tiger 800XC in Mexico to be shipped to Oaxaca. I will be here for a week or so and now would be a good time to get this tire before heading further south. I do not speak any useful spanish...but that fact rarely stops commerce in Mexico.

I am sure it is fairly easy to order moto tires here and if someone could point me in the right direction I will be grateful.

You're in MX now, find the part of town where all the moto shops are and get yourself a MT21 and be done with it. This tire handles everything well and has a decent sidewall, which you'll need. You can get these tires all day long just about everywhere in LA, rinse and repeat.

If that is what you have to have, then I think Revzilla sells Heidenau and they ship international.

Jump in a taxi and go visit some of these guys is what I would do

You're in a very cool place to chill while taking care of the tire issue

Once you have the tire dialed in, get some mole at Asador Vasco, ask anyone at the zocalo where it is

I first checked with Revzilla and they do not ship tires to Mexico.

Now this is something I can use....I will get a taxi Monday and one of these guys will probably be able to have a tire in a day or two. Thanks for the info.

I wouldn't be too picky. You probably won't find heidenaus. Just get something similar. Metzlers and Pirellis can be found everywhere down here. If you can't find what you want you can order them from Mexico City to anywhere in the country in a couple of days. Usually it ends up being a lot cheaper too because a lot of smaller local shops order their tires from Mexico City and pay retail for them and then add their markup on top of it. I typically use these guys: http://motohouse.com.mx/

I know a Bike Bandit re-seller in Laredo, Texas who can get the Heidenau tire, run it through customs, and then ship to you in Mexico. Fluent in English and Spanish. I've done business with him thru a shop in Guadalajara on a couple of occasions. If you want his contact information, pm me. Or I would think the BMW dealer in Oaxaca would have a Tourance or Anakee.
