We're aiming for Finke 2014 Scotty but it'll depend on work etc. Nothing definate pencilled in yet.

Cheers mate. My bike will be getting close to 60,000km this time next year so hopefully its up to one last big flogging. It still runs like new now and has been well maintained so it should be right. Dave's bike has a chequered past but motor is tight and runs well so with a bit of work should do the trick too.

I heard you're on a DR now too. Good on ya

Well done mate some of the sand looked pretty soft. Combining the Simpson with the race is a good idea have fun.

Your on the money, fit and I would personally suggest hydration tablets you can put in your camel bak. Long story short my Simpson desert crossing nearly cost me my life. I considered myself a very capable rider and reasonably fit.
