Yeah, that's broke.

Wrap it up.

Two weeks later, it comes off.

This is what it looks like when you can't move it for a while.

Dude, that is Cankle-i-scious. I had one of those. Healed but Osteoarthritis set in and almost hurts more on a daily basis than the actual break. Ended my once promising career as a Clydesdale class runner.

Yeh... good idea... put him up at the porta john... should be able so shoot everyone eventually.

Bloody hell... hate to hear all these ankle woes. Good luck buddies.

My left is not good and slides around some, but my right has been a bit more trouble. It's been broken 3 times culminating in 4 surgeries, the last one being a total fusion of all 3 major joint surfaces.
I turned 25 in a hospital bed from high siding my bike at 75+mph. I am the luckiest person alive. all that happened was crushed ankle and a busted collar bone. I bounced back pretty quickly, being made of 25 year old rubber, but my 30s SUCKED. As Mike said, OA set in and the fucker swelled to a grapefruit every day, pain killers worked but they are not a sustainable lifestyle. The way I was walking ruined my lower spine and all the joints on my left side..... I was getting fucking pathetic. Drinking/pain killers..getting fatter and fatter... more surgery, pain getting worse and worse. Draining the life out of me.
Then about 10 years ago I had the fucker fused. This really began a renaissance in my life. I lost some weight, pain subsided eventually to about 5% of what it was. I got steadily more active, started riding bicycles and motorcycles again, more fit, more confident about life in general. Now I'm down 70 LBS and 9 inches from my bulkatude. 1/2 way to my goals and filled with desire/energy to live.
If you would have told me 7 years ago that I would be riding a 650 thumper 7500 miles and up the Continental Divide, I would have laughed in your face.
Life is better now at 54 than it was at 34. Sad maybe, but I'm 54 now!!! Now is the good stuff I've been missing. Now is good!

So all this BLA BLA windbaggery is getting at is: don't live with chronic joint pain, if fusion will take it away,.... don't wait.

Oh and Clydesdale class runner!!!!!!
VAC crackin me up again.

Thankfully, it's not all that bad. I hyper extended the foot while trying to gracefully crash a bicycle, and the force chipped the back of my tibia ( hence the cast and not being able to put weight on it ). I've had nothing but a couple ibuprofen a day and otherwise its been fine. Two weeks in a hard cast ( right before a working vacation on a farm in Montana 0_o ) and my xray yesterday showed no more fracture. Out of the cast and into the boot for another two weeks ( again no weight ) and I'll be allowed to walk on it. I'm hoping to be strong enough for the motorcycle when the time comes. The sprain and immobility hurt the most right now.
