bug collecting in NOVA- rocketman style on a '75 R90/6
For those looking to buy a nice country property in Northern Va I thought I would search out some nice options for those still in the market..
A nice old place ready for renovation and comes with a school bus ready to take the kids to school (note: may need new tires!)
also has a nice pond, not real big but close by the main house
and what a great view!
Another nice home almost ready to move in to, comes fully furnished, or at least the porch is
A secluded retreat, with several out building, a coat of paint and a few new windows and you're all set for the farm you've always wanted to run
Has a nice flower garden next to the driveway
Perhaps you'd like to renovate a barn and turn it into a nice large home?
Here's one just off a major highway with a big silo and smaller barn you could use to store your bikes
think of the stash you could stash in the silo! Wow!
Maybe you'd like something in blue with a nice airy upper story? Then here's the perfect fixer-upper!
Another nice farm potential
Driveway does need some, well, driveway..but its got a gate installed
Came across a nice mural in Luray and yes it really is black and gray
And finally a few shots of the valley from the top of Rt. 675
After I got down to the valley again I decided to go down the road marked Seven Fountains off of 675 to well, find the 7 fountains, not sure what happened to them but they are not there anymore and I have to wonder if maybe, just maybe, there never were any? Ya think?? All I found was a hard packed dirt and gravel road that goes nowhere..
All told 230 miles and 6 some hours in the saddle, temps never really got out of the mid 70's, mostly blue skies and great riding. route is here....
