Thumb No Stop...

Actually, that might help as it would eliminate having to use a clock and a whistle as we do now. When NATC events are so different from our club events, it makes it difficult to accomplish. With clock/whistle, we need 3 checkers per section, at club events we sometimes only use/need one.

I'm not blowing someone else's whistle.

Where can I buy my own official NATC whistle?

Eh? NATC Whistles

Each NATC whistle is unique to the section number, so you cannot use your own. Each section goes up a note on the scale until you reach the shrieking little girl note. Then it starts over with the manly bass tones.Here's hoping you have one of the manly whistles....

A kazoo would be good.

Similar enrollment for the Arizona national.

I would think the last two rounds will be loaded with entries.A lot of people ride first 4 rounds then the closer last rounds.

I have said for years that they need too do and east and west coast rounds and then a three day central location for the finals.

With numbers low for entry and all the work involved something different needs to be done.

class ??

What would the clubman class, at the nationals, equate to at a local event? (Intermediate, advanced, etc..) Was curious about participating but pretty sure my skills aren't up to that level of competition.....

Thumb RMTA Class = National Class

To answer your question, I'm not sure. But, last year Chase Abbott from CO won Clubman for the year, I think he is an advanced rider in RMTA, but not sure what he rode last year in RMTA. Check results for names you know. Otherwise I would say that Clubman should be like an easier CO advanced. For NMTA, the rough equivalent is that Semi Expert = Clubman, and our Expert line is most equal to the national "Support" line. (SP, WO, SR classes, etc.) Hope this helps.
