Esperance/Kalgoorlie ideas

Hi guys . Two of us are heading towards esperance and maybe Kal in the next few days. Anyone have any great ideas for roads to check out? Or places?

We're not camping, so looking for point to pint places or day rides.

Gwalia sounds good. Is there a western loop or something form Kal?

Beach run out of esperance?
Any good places to stay, good pubs ,good food, all ideas welcomed.

Cheers

I haven't worked it out for ages. But I got a 640A. So I'll estimate,it at 200km .

My mate has the new husky 650.

Plus we're only going for the soft option. Hotels instead of camping, and my mate is new to dirt riding, and I haven't been on a bike for ages. Steady steady ..

If it's been wet the Parmango Rd will probably be closed by Esperance or Dundas (or both) shires. It's usually signposted as you head east out of Esperance on Fisheries Rd (has been two of the times I've been out there). The servo on the highway should know what's going on.

I dunno, each time it was closed when I wanted to ride through there after decent rains, I was told about it by the servo. It's a shire issue rather than Main Roads so a phone call to either or both of the shires should get you an answer.

Cheers for that. Well we'll go and roost the beach tommorow and check it out from there! I'm fucking loving this trip!
