Might be a little while, but I'm definitely shooting for this to be done for a trip Oct 9th, at the latest.

Finally got back, and had a little time to make the second gen. half fender. The overall shape is the same, with the exception of a full length 1/2 inch lip on the sides to aid in rigidity. I also changed the angle a few deg, as to achieve a 3/4 inch gap between the rad guard, and fender, instead of the 3/8 the first gen had. Hardening.

Cut into shape, and with a layer of top coat epoxy to auto level, it will then dry, drilled, and mounted..... Fit is perfect.....

Wicked Done......

A bit of final wet sanding, and polishing, and it is on the bike.....

3/4 inch clearance to the rad guard.... flexible, yet stiff....

I dig catching reflections in the composites.....

I measured 9 1/2 inch clearance to the tire, at any point, to should have just about 1 inch at full stroke......

That's perfect. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

..... Ha ha... I know it creates a lot of turbulence...... But every time I tried to in any way alter, or remove it, I broke the bike lines.... And it either looked like Gonzo, or a turd.... IMHO... This is perfect for me....

I have not made a mould for it, but if enough wants a copy, I can certainly do that. That....along with the fork sliders......

I'm definitely in for some fork sliders. I've been wanting to try to make some, but haven't been able to find time.
