Just a quick heads up. The crew has been out doing our annual trail scouting and we have some great stuff laid out again for this years event! Our club steps it up every year so don't miss it. Nov. 2, 3

Last couple of years I've allowed work to get in the way and had to listen to people all year tell me about all the great riding I missed out on. Well not this year fellas. My ass will be there rain or shine!

Hey Guys how is the Hammer Run for a semi Newbie? I recently got a 2009 klx250 and I live very close to the hammer run so I thought I may sign up.

I rode a lot of dirt bikes as a kid, but now mid 30's and first bike in 10 years.

appreciate any advice.

Welcome to ADV! Sign up and go ride, you'll meet new people, ride new trails, and go home very tired!

Close enough to ride to the start?

I'd recommend removing turn signals and mirrors from the bike. And have a good set of real knobbie tires on it. Other than that, just ride your own pace. You'll most likely come across someone riding a similar speed on the woods, and you can stay with them.

Make sure to stay for the bonfire on Saturday night.
