Good on ya Podge.
I'll try and get up again next year.
Take it easy. Hi to Karen.

so Podge, you reckoned my outfit was rather cool at Birdsville you thought you'd like one. Enjoy and see you at the Victorian Sidecar Rally in Strathmerton.

On ya Podge .

I've been pining for a ural combo for a few years , the missus wants a Caravan though , says she wouldn't be seen , alive or dead , in a side car . I love simple things , look at the company I keep .

Any Machine that can be kept running with a pair of vice grips , a screw driver or 2 and some kerosene or petrol is my type of machine , if they was a diesel it would be a no contest , the SE would be on the market and I would have to take double the time off work to do my trips .... doesn't sound like a bad thing now does it ?

Great stuff podge the URAL will be able to do way more dirt than the Tiger 800 XC and its probably a way more reliable /capable bike - we were looking at one ourselfs

If its half as reliable as the Tiger I will be really happy. It should be a good 690 recovery machine. Already got a winch sorted.
