Naw. The exhaust pipes get hot. The intakes are warm.

Sure they have some heat in them. The silicone product is specifically aimed at the heat problem. They claim a high tolerance for heat. I agree with Anton though. The fuel will limit the life you get from these hoses. How much? You'll have to let us know. I think the other product mentioned by Blain may be better. I never saw any in depth descrition of that one though.

Almost anything will be better for awhile because the intake leaks you have now are probably the reason for the back firing.
