Turkey Trot DS Ride

Had a great time on the BW ride today. Thanks for making us feel welcome. I may have accidentally transported some of your sand home with me. I sure hope it's not like kudzu.

TT-V a Big Success

We had a nice casual afternoon ride on Friday followed by a great campfire (compliments of those who brought wood and Madhouse's awesome fire pit!) and great food and friends that night! Hated to miss the epic ride yesterday but family comes first and I'm glad to say that my Dad's back home and doing better. Thanks to Madhouse for hosting with the property and Vic for planning and organizing! Gimmie for the bush hog work and anyone else I may be leaving off! It was nice meeting new people and putting faces with names. TT-VI will be here before we know it!

Turkey Trot V - few photos

Everyone started showing up about 10 AM Friday.

In spite of penis sized sign (much smaller than you want everyone to believe) every one seemed to find the site.

We took a Friday afternoon ride to Relaxation Canyon and a stopping point along the Blackwater.

Terry Jack and James

Paco

Hatch and Lisa

Saturday at the lunch/gas stop

Our North Alabama visitors...

Gimmie and the CADs guys from Jville.

The lunch gathering

Leo and Hatch (no not the Disney movie - that was Leo and Stitch)

Wayne - Gimmie - Sam - Caleb - Mark

Orange Garrett Madhouse Freebornman Ace

over 45 riders were accounted for.

NO INJURIES and

Only 2 or 3 left behind...

Vidoes and more photos to come

Thanks to everyone for making this s STANDOUT WEEKEND

That sign was a bit on the small side

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Good times were had, most definitely! Thanks especially to the following: Madhouse for providing the location plus that righteous and kick-azzz firepit, Gimmee for the fine bushhog work, Dr. Philgood for the bodacious vittles, and last but not least, SDH for entertaining us with anticzz on hiz "hardcore with a bigbore Vino scooter." He told me he had an oversize piston, and when I told him I doubted it, he pulled it out and showed it to me. I'll never be the same again.

Pics (but not of SDH's oversize piston) will be uploaded eventually...

Big Thanks

The CADS contingent made it home with no issues.

We had a great time.Great folks, great trails, great times. Thanks to everyone who put together everything and then made sure all had a great weekend.

I know many were very disappointed not to be able to adequately sweat through out the weekend, but we really loved the weather.

I am sure more of us will be back next time.

Cheers

Fail

Next year.
My gal has never piloted a bike, an I petered out trying to prep two new bikes
(new to me) that had not been ridden in 25 years so she would have
something to putt around on to enjoy the TT-V... Was a fiasco, found
chewed wires, nesting material and crusty mouse urine in the headlight
bucket of one, which required a gas mask to work on STINNNNKY !!
Other one needed new carb to run. Both run now and the "mouse-house" is
being re-wired as I write this. Wish me luck.
Now I just need to find someone with the patience to teach her to ride... familiarity breeds contempt you know
