Not the first time. You need to watch a video about not humping UXO

They took those scenes out of the video, Buzz. I don't know why.

I may have been a little drunk when I watched it. I think it's in redbox now, maybe I'll check it out one day

Permit for Trot

This year we will be riding Black Water where no permit is needed.

However, we do have rides that are planned to go thru Eglin so a range permit is required if you e
Want to see tanks and trenches etc.
you must apply in person the first time. Takes 20 minutes or so.
Info on Jackson guard on post #2 on PAR thread

Hope you can make it.

Getting close

Lets get back to grass cutting and porta potties.

Is there anyone out there who knows someone to cut grass at site?

Is there anyone willing to meet and try to clear area with riding lawn mowers?

Is there anyone willing to arrange/pay for and be reimbursed out of "donations" for a porta potty?

Here is another idea.

we have a support truck haul gas cans up to Hurricane Lake and we also take orders for BBQ from Mickeys and have there for mid day break.

You FFs will have to pay in advance but I will talk with Mickeys to see about price etc for 20 or so meals.

That way we can have a long BW ride and long break at Hurricane.

The porta-potty's on me, Maestro...the least I can do to show my appreciation to Tony for providing the venue, and to all you FFs for the generosity you showed after my Big Crash, is to provide y'all with a Jenkemator 5000

Now as for the grass cutting--all I have is a push mower, but if it comes down to it I'll truck it out there and cut the "road" into the site, and the area around the firepit. That's a start, and if worse comes to worse we could make do with just that.

Reckon I better hire this FF to stand out beside Garner Landing Rd. so Chav & his navigator don't miss the place:

Problem is, he doesn't work cheap.

If JP doesn't make it out there with his tire groover and some Kickin ChickenTM, I'm gonna be pissed!

And the Kraken most definitely needs to be released. I'll bring enough for me and Wildman, and maybe one or two others

In all likelihood, some food will get cooked:

Can't wait--this is a primo spot for an ADV rally, and I've never NOT had a good time out there!

Who's up for a NIGHT RIDE??

Yeah that's what I'm talkin about.

Gimme's bushhoggin

Just got off the phone with Gimme.

He has stepped up to do the bush hogging this year which is great cause I believe the grass is too high for lawn mowers.

A lot going on with me as far as riding in October. Got Barber Vintage Days starting in 10 days then ride the mountains the following week.
Doing Cheaha a bit different this time around(well a lot different) the last weekend of October.
We'll be heading up and staging at the top on the mountain on the 27th. Ride a bit that day then heading north to connect with the TET towards Elijay Georgia. and the stuff Morris showed me last May in North Georgia.
We get back to Cheaha sunday late night-thirty.
We dont know where we'll be sleeping/eating/gassing up. Schedule will be sketchy. Packing light with undies, some socks and a toothbrush.

Did something like this years ago and it turned out fine.

Outstanding! Thanks Gimmie

I will get with him and help when ever he goes over there.

Ya hear that Gimmie!

Madhouse - are you gonna ask Robbie to lead a ride?

Don't have any idea how many folks will show this time...
We may take smaller groups.

I think Rotorhead will lead a group to Eglin on the Military Ride!
