I'm not sure. I suggest you call or email Max at the Brookfield store.

GS Challenge for all skill levels?

So I was thinking on doing the GS challenge. I'm not terribly experienced, but figured since they are saying that it will be fun for all skill levels, I'd be ok.

Then I read that not even 50/ 50 tires are really adequate, and "Expect a sand trap, mud pit, logs, single track, teeter totter and more."

Are beginners routed through the same obstacles as everyone else? I'll still probably do it just to embarrass myself, but if I gotta go over a teeter totter, I need to plan on having someone available to pick me up from the hospital, lol.

Signed up this weekend for the RIP Van Winkle Challenge that I plan to do 2-up with the old lady.

I have a feeling next year it won't be 2-up as she's taking a liking to this whole riding thing...

Now that I'm signed up for the challenge, how do I get my hands on the GPX file to try to map out our route? Is it available yet?

Watch your email. You'll be getting a lot. First one will be later today with the schedule and details.

Riders will receive the .GPX file and the rallybook mid week via email.

Sure!

On Sunday afternoon after the last ride and the paperwork is done you can take your new waterboxer on the Challenge course. I'd say a briefcase of benjamins would make it happen.

Anyone interesting in splitting a condo?

DAHMIK!

I had heard no mention of any precip in the forecast until you posted this. Now they're talking about a cold front coming through, with showers, Friday into Saturday.

So, on that note, anyone interested in splitting a three-bedroom condo? $600 includes the cleaning fee (there's a $150 deposit, but I'm willing to cover that and assume we can manage to leave the place in a reasonable condition) for the whole place for the weekend, It's three bedrooms with queen beds in two, a full and two twin bunks in the third bedroom, plus a pull-out couch in the living room. Four people splitting it would be $150 apiece, six would be $100 apiece, and it has 2.5 bathrooms (plus a kitchen, and the pictures suggest a washer/dryer, in the event things get really soggy).

The location is slopeside near where the camping has been in the past, so it should be quite easy to hang out but not have to deal with being wet all weekend.

(I'm operating on the assumption that, at some point, I'm going to get completely soaked, probably on my way over from Vermont).

Coming from Hartford CT

Anybody on small bikes heading out from the central Connecticut area? I would be going solo and might like a buddy or two to ride with. Never been to one of these things before. Thinking of heading out Friday after work or real early Saturday morning leaving on Sunday going back through western Mass to Southwick. I'd be going out through northwest CT riding my XRL with stock tank.

Get at me. EE
