After last week's wonderful turnout, my only word of advice is arrive early if you don't want to wait for the food. I, for one, love waiting and chit chatting but the more you can space out the orders for them, the better.

Excellent: I won't be eating along.

The "bad" side is that I won't be able to Bogart the pies.

Look forward to seeing ya'll on the 7th.

I may not make the 7th. I was in Morgantown Saturday for choir practice (9-12) and to play for a wedding at 3:30. In between, I went to the youth room where they have nice comfy couches and sat down for a 30 minute nap. When I woke up, I had a splitting headache, was sweating, nauseous, and didn't know where I was for a minute or two. I managed to make it thru the wedding, but my wife drove up and took me to the ER. (She said one pupil was dilated much more than the other). After 4 hours of tests, labs, and scans, they determined it was not a small stroke (their initial assessment) but a severe migraine - my first! I've had headaches before, but nothing like this. I had to leave my bike in the city parking lot across from the church (in one of the church reserved spots) while Beth drove me back to Clarksburg. The next morning, I felt fine and played organ and piano for both services. After lunch, I rode the bike home with her following me. Felt absolutely fine - less than 24 hours after it started.

Anyhow, since the last few weekends have been tied up with Rella's 1st lunch on the 17th, church, and other commitments, I owe my wife a "County Fair" weekend. Sorry.

Y'all behave and say "Hi" to Rella. I will keep tabs and let her know how many to expect.

Take care Mike. I've known people with migraines and they can be wicked.
We'll save you some pie.

Mike, as mentioned in a PM, my younger daughter is "blessed" with those things. All she can do is to go to bed to get rid of it. I've been fortunate. As best I can tell I've only had one that totally incapacitated me. I was TDY in Taegu Korea (1964) when it hit me one night. Scary thing for a young kid in a strange place with none of my normal buddies around.

The BBQ Sauce: Since it looks like you won't be making it to Rella's on the 7th., and assuming I do, you want me to take it there and ask her to hold it for you, or just hang on to it in the hopes we can hook up later in the near future?

Lemme know.

Either way. I'll probably be down to see her before too long. Or, we can meet up sometime at the farm in Petersburg. Thanks.

Not me. I was out there last week (Mon??) scouting for new markers in Preston County, but yesterday I was in Morgantown in the car.

Probably just another manly man like me.
