If you all have any limb cutters you can fit and bring with you that'd be great. There's several really over-grown trails.

Wait, you both have the same first name like double-mint twins?

snagged a couple shots from the gopro video I got today...

I captured this one of Garrett #1 as he headed into "the water hole"...and this was the shallow end

At the far end, the bike was tired from it's long swim and decided to take a nap. Garret quickly woke it up and prodded it back into motion...but the mighty 650 was still tired and proceeded continue it's nap on it's other side...taking Garrett with.
(it's on the video, but a bit too far for the still)

Since I'm and experienced submariner from my West Virginia trip, I just had to follow...
When I say there was a deep end...I meant there was a DEEP end

The shallow end shot looked pretty cool...

But you couldn't see much in the deep end

Garret #2 and I made it through with out our bikes needing naps, but Bill wasn't so lucky

He got himself out alright..even picked up the pace a bit when he noticed a snake in the water with him

His KLR was running a bit rough after that so we did a little de-watering and got him going again.

Both Garrett #2 and Bill rode those KLRs really well for the terrain we were riding...But even Garrett went down

spun it right around like he was sliding into home plate when he got crossed up in a wet rut

All in all it was a good day, some new trails, new people and plans for more...

Pissed Pictures not posting to thread

So I've been trying to post pics for over a day now. I keep getting the, "security token missing" message when I try to post pics. I tried creating a photbucket account, then pasting the URL to the thread. Not working either. I also tried to copy and paste, resize, and post the pics. Still the same message... I need your help! Is there any other option for posting pictures?

Sunday morning trail ride

Had a blast you guys! I'm thinking next time a G.W.N.F. or Rapidan W.M.A. ride? Here is part 1 of yesterdays ride, it was a good day. The trails don't last too long, but just enough to get your fix without having to travel a great distance for it. We will definitely have to plan some-more rides in the near future.

Didn't realize I went that far over the top. I noticed Garrett at the last minute and got just enough brake to not completely air it our. Another 3 feet further and it would have been into the pond

Guess I better get the load out together for the DRZ if I'm going to make this camping trip.

Dave that pond was nothing compared to the DEEP mud puddle crossing on our ride the other day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nY8JUO2SPs

Camping in September is sounding good. I went out to the Fort Valley area of the G.W.N.F. today, and it was a major disappointment... We clocked about 250 miles on the trip today, only 8 off the pavement on some light fire-roads, nothing exciting. Almost all of the intersecting trails of the main trails/roads were blocked off by a gate, due to some chemicals recently being sprayed of some sort. I will have a map of todays ride for you all shortly. From now on I'll skip Fort Valley all together, and just hit up the trails off of Route 33. Don't get me wrong, it was a very nice ride...Especially for bigger Adventure Touring bikes not looking for anything technical and nice peaceful ride.

Managed to get this nice shot on the short trail we were on... This was off of Crisman Hollow Road, outside of Luray.

This was taken in Luray.
