Anyone else been able to contact the club? Unless you are asking about refunds or tickets credits communication flows rapidly? I'd rather have been told "no refunds" than to not even rate a response.

I'm glad everyone else is so happy with watr and everything they do

I've brought the issue up through our club e-mail distro, but haven't heard back yet. It may have been discussed at the club meeting last night, but I wasn't there to know for sure.

Update: I received a ticket for the event and a response this morning! If only my patience had held out a little longer....

I was finally able to get a response. The person that was responding to emails had a serious family issue come up. Someone else is trying to handle the responses right now.

Just got word the event is now sold out! For those going, this is always a terrific DS ride and a lot of fun. Not to mention the club donates a LOT of money to the local community which generates local support for the event.

Ride safe and have fun!

I think its 250 bikes.
These guys do a great job with this event. Remember they are volunteers and the registration money gets spent on holding the pavilion, two days lunch , permits, tshirts, rollcharts and a bunch of stuff us riders don`t even see. So maybe now that the event is sold out they can do a refund and resell the ticket but they use a service for that and it may take time and additional expense? Please remember this is about having fun, hopefully for the WATR guys also.

If anybody needs to bail on the Shenandoah 500, Bob White from Bob's Cycle Bard wants to buy two tickets. You can contact him at wfo-bob@msn.com

I guess I'm looking forward to this year's S500. I thought I'd put up an old picture. One of my friend's from maybe three years ago at the S500. It was a wet fall and all the little creeks were full. It felt like there was a zillion of these little water crossing.

One last pic. From one of the "hero sections". Was a little intimidating to some but really not that hard.

Good pics. I'm looking forward to it. I've got a TE250... hoping I'm not going to regret holding off on the seat upgrade I've been wanting.

I typo'd this on my fone yo'
