Riding RTW coming out of Russia heading west WHERE SHOULD I SEE???

Riding RTW coming out of Southern Russia heading west WHERE SHOULD I SEE???

basic idea is coming in towards the stans and europe something on the lines of this

these route lines ARE NOT SET IN STONE, it is just a vague plan to get to the UK to catch a RO/RO boat to South America,

i have no time restraints at all, i see the only problem is the weather, as i will leave Magadan around the first week of July 2014, so will be at point 'B' on the second map around the End of August of maybe a little later at a guess

where would you go????

and invites for tent space/ couch surfing along the way would be an added bonus

I would head south of the Black sea through Turkey and up through Greece, Albania, The Balkans and on to Europe. I have recently travelled that route in the opposite direction and can recommend it.

Very vague, matey - you might want to do just a little research on this. Last time I looked, the only RO/RO boats out of UK went to France.....

Seriously, I've never heard of a ferry going to S. America. You're gonna have to crate it and ship it.

Google Wallenius Wilhelmsen. Many intercontinental Ro-Ro lines. These are not ferry lines, though, and there could be cheaper ways to send your bike. The Ro-Ro to South America probably means Grimaldi Lines, that one actually has a few passenger cabins available.

you should do some research before you comment as well, you think i just make this stuff up as i go along

a RO/RO would be a container ship that usually carries a maximum limit of about 20 paying passengers...IT IS NOT A FERRY....matey!!!

Grimaldi Freighter Cruises

Agent : C.C.C. Catalina Cargo Conseil Vessel: GRANDE BUENOS AIRES

Embarkation port : TILBURY Disembarkation port : MONTEVIDEO

stops in Africa and Brazil on the way to Uruguay

if that isn't running for some reason then there are numerous other boats, and shipping companies that also do this if you know the right place to look, i have family in the shipping industry and i also worked at sea for about 8 years as well

ok back to your normal program...no suggestions for places like the OP was about?

From Georgia to Turkey and then Greece or Bulgaria... I have been wanting to visit the Adriatic coast as well.

From Georgia you could catch a ferry to the Crimean Peninsula/Ukraine.

I had awesome time in Ukraine, I was there during October...

One of my favorite places in Turkey is the Nemrut Dag (Mount Nemrut), which you have to experience at sunrise or -set. Cappadocia seems to be pretty impressive, too.

I'd also take the Balkan route, but don't just follow the Adriatic coast. That route is fast, but you'll miss the beauty of these countries. I'm pretty sure the Balkan is also much more interesting than taking the ferry and ride up through Italy.
I'll be there some time in September - stop if you spot me, and I'll buy you a drink.

The Alps are sensational, everywhere. Be aware that some passes may get closed in November.

The Czech Republic is very nice. I have done two trips there already, with two ride reports see my sig). Great food, great beer, great scenery, little traffic, cheap.
