local dealer has a used 2008 690 enduro for sale, asking 8k. 1200 miles on the odo,has a broken headlight switch and the speedo display is fogged over, other wise its spotless. 100 % stock. is 8 grand a good price?

Seems high. I have my '08 990 on craigslist for 8k and no one calls. Used bike sales here in the northeast U.S. are very slow. I guess I'll have to keep it

I'd maybe go in there with 5k cash and see what happens. After all, despite the miles, there's stuff wrong with it, and it's 5-6 years old

KBB Shows $6,000. I always find KBB pertty close (for a near-new condition bike). In my area most KTMs are listed over KBB and they don't sell fast... My rule is to never pay over KBB and under it is a good deal. So, $5,500 would be a great deal. Doubt they would take you serious at $5,000.
