640 Adventurer carby problem ????

Afternoon all

Ok my 07 640 with just over 30K has done this to me twice now
The first time was after a long ride just coming back into the city & went to accelerate to change lanes and it just went flat/no power I pulled the clutch in and gave it some revs and it just picked up and off it went.

Today short ride just left work and accelerated from the lights & it did the same thing just looses power but will idle no worries ??
I pulled over and if you tried to rev it just flutters and wont rev
So checked the carby all looked ok nothing seems to have come off from the outside I gave it a tap re started it and it was all good again.Road it home with no dramas.

Any ideas ??
