JNS Engineering - KLR650 + DR650 Goodies!

Hi folks, I recently updated the JNS website and launched a few new products. Please take a look here...

www.jnsengineering.com

In other news, I've added a DR650 to the stable. A skid plate and rear rack are in the works.

Excellent products!!!!! Have your skid plates on both of my KLR's as well as the radiator guard on one.

Did have to do slight modifications to the guard for my IMS tank.

I've had a JNS plate on my KLR for a couple years now...and it has taken a beating

Big gouge from some West Virginia rocks

just a little dent on the left side, probably from the same bunch of rocks...

I've never been very gentle with it and it's certainly done it's job

one suggestion for the DR650 plate. Make it a bit longer than many of the other offerings, by extending it rearward and pick up the 2 mount points on the frame. Other plates are dangerously close to the cases when the clamps are installed and risk pushing a bolt through the case.

Ordered a cooler guard for my DR. As Rusty pointed out - connect to the rear bolts. I purchased one that did after watching a plate mount go through the bottom of a DR case. I'll add a preference for extending it out to the sides an inch past the frame, too. I get in some rocky areas and I'm sure that little bit has saved my case.

Thank you for the order and input. Do you want to wait a few weeks for black powder coating?
