He said 7:40 is prolly the earliest, so meet him there then, doesn't take too long to get over here on a Saturday. He'll be on a green BMW F800 GS. His name is Paul

I'll be there! Either on a WR250 or KLR 650...haven't decided yet.

DANG!! What a crowd

Been quite some time since I've seen such a bunch of hooligans in one place! Great crowd today for the ride. Thanks Mark for all the hard work!

Great Choice of Roads

Mark, thanks for putting together the great street route. It was a reminder that one can stay on pavement in Kentucky and still never be bored.

I had to break away after the Valley View crossing in order to make an afternoon appointment but I'm sure that the remaining two legs of the ride were every bit as entertaining as the first one. Good job!

Had fun!

I had to bail early too. When we rode up to my house, I stopped! Had to get back to my schoolwork. Had a blast and was again able to meet some good people! Thanks for organizing the ride Mark!

We bailed after the ferry also. Copper river steak was too close and too tempting. Then had to haul butt home to beat the storm....
Thanks Mark for organizing the ride and thanks Ahilis for the assist! Let's do it again!

Spectacular road selections for the route!..........I especially liked the roads that ran along the ridge-tops

We had to bail after the ferry as well so we could hot-foot it back to Danville & then points west. We only got caught by about 30 seconds of rain but it sure looked bad as we approached Bardstown.

Thanks for putting this all together, Mark. I look forward to coming back over that way & riding the full route

Wow Mark what a route you guys put together, we had a blast! Fantastic roads and great weather until we got hammered at about 4:30PM and maybe 20 miles from Lee's. Sorry we didn't make it back down to the shop but once I am wet it's kinda over for me and I wasn't smart enough to pack the rain gear

I rode with my buddies Dave and Josh and we managed to cross paths with John, Gary, Tim and the dude on the grey Strom...(sorry I'm not good with names)! Since we got there at about 10AM most of the folks were heading out as we rolled in but running sweep is all good. Looks like everyone we talked to was having a great time as there were smiles all around

Guess I'll add a few photos since others have done the same, can't wait to do it again!

There was a pretty good line at the Valley View Ferry coming off of Tates Creek Road

After running up the hill from the ferry we had to stop for some grub. Decent burgers all around and friendly conversation from the proprietor of this little shop, think his name was Keith.

I got a couple of blurry pics at speed along what I remember as the old railroad road; really cool riding in here!

Here's Dave in my mirror, same story all day Love those old Airheads!

This road has to be one of my favorites of the whole route

The three amigos at the river this afternoon

Just BEAUTIFUL!

That's about it. As I said I know we all had a blast and a big thanks goes out to Mark for all the hard work on this great event and all the hospitality!

Hey Mark thanks a bunch for everything you guys did to get this organized. I'm sorry that I couldn't make it back to Lee's for some BBQ, I was looking forward to it, but after getting blown around in the rain it was time to head for the house.

Here's an option that was only available on the yellow V, "Beast Mode"...

I think this should have said "F*ck that thing just won't die"

We didn't do the graffitti but we did randomly park there to stretch our legs and check out the old bridge. I would have had some GoPro footage but I didn't remember to put my SD card back in before I left the house

Great Ride

Another awesome route and dinner from Mark and the rest of the team at Lee's. Saw some old friends and met some new ones. Paul (GSPD) WillyB (1200gs) another 1200gs from Corbin and the F800ST tagged along with our group. We had pretty good luck on the rain, it didn't pour until we made it back to Lee's. Sadly that brief downpour killed my gps.

We had a good time with you guys. I made it home about the time the sky decided to open up. Give us a shout if you're wanting to get in a ride before the weather turns.

Had a blast! By the time I got back home (southern Indiana), I had my fill of walnuts, may apples, and rain but wouldn't change a thing. Look forward to the next one!

Great Pics folks! Looked like the weather held for most of the day.

Poured back to the west of you almost all day.
