Good enough for Dakar but not 1190, I'm confused. Did I miss the point.

Traditionally one of the main weak points of the Adv have been rims and spokes. Basically low on quality, hence the desire to upgrade, A60, woodies, SE Dirt Star.....Tube's can get you out of the shit, where TL will leave you stranded waiting for the courier.

Lets see how the 1190 rims hold up, as some will tell ya the Adv rims have been done in by pot holes on the slap....30 mph whilst breaking.

Tancaker.

The OP didn't ask your opinion on whether he should change his wheels, he asked if anyone knew whether they would fit.

You chose to criticise him instead.

'The 950 is super the 1190 is not'

Thats why people upgrade the 950/990. Because it's better then everyting else. If a bike is super and perfect it would not need upgrades...

The 950/990/1190 is the best base to start from if you lean yowards offroad. But it also needs some adjustments for some people so they can have the potential THEY are looking for. Panniers does not add offroad potentional...bashplate does not overcome flat tires due to bend rims. Thus you get stronger and tubed wheels.

Upgrading a bike is the most useuall thing in the offroad world. Even stock motocrossbikes are upgraded and alterated to the rider's needs. If your 1190 does not need new wheels for your kind of riding then thats good for you.
But if the OP wants to go 100+ in the dirt then he has to take precautions. Thus, again, stronger and tubed wheels.

I wouldn't take any notice of those guys on the video, because according to you they're fat and don't know what they're talking about!!!

Excel rims, oversized spokes. Even nice for the pavement when your riding along day dreaming and not paying attention. So thats why they had that tire shop right there. For desert riding a 21 works way better for me than a 19, but thats just me. Hope the hubs are a direct bolt up for your 1190, that would be good.
