Durham / RTP - Wednesday ADVLunch New Location???

So there have been quite a few times when only 1 has been at this lunch. Some comment that perhaps it is the location. I put this thread here for discussion purposes rather than muddy the waters on the regular thread. Once a decision is made, keep the same location or move and to where, then the original thread can announce it.

Food is OK a Zydas (A Gracious Plenty). There have been some changes since the ownership changed, some better some not. Still not bad meals nor bad prices. Most of the folks that do attend seem to come from the SE or E back towards Raleigh. Some that have attended indicate that it is difficult to make the trek out to other side of the Park for lunch.

So do we change the place for food?

Do we change the place for location?

Suggestions.

If we did change the place, one might be Edwards Mill Grill (Used to be Crowleys) near Edwards Mill and Duraleigh.

Whats your thoughts?

NCS

I enjoy the lunch at AGP, but the location is time consuming for me. If we moved to a more central Raleigh spot I would come more often. Edwards Mill Grill's food is fine, but it's all waited tables. I would think we should stick to a location with counter service so folks can come and go more easily.

Neomonde? It's near the fairgrounds, has counter service and a nice outdoor seating area. It gets pretty crowded on weekends, not sure about Wednesdays, and the menu may be a bit challenging for the burger-and-fries types. But it's supposed to be an adventure lunch, right?

Thumb Neomonde

Neomonde is a good suggestion. My daughter works at the N. Raleigh location, the food is very good in my opinion.

Neomonde (the Raleigh location) would work for me for food and location. Do they have outdoor seating?

AGP is good food, but too far for me on a "lunch hour".

Yes, they have a covered patio with ceiling fans.
I like the food and the vibe at AGP but it's close to 40 miles of crowded interstate for me to make the round trip.

I like the idea of the N Raleigh Neomonde...

Same distance from where I work, and a LOT closer to where I usually work, aka home....

And we can harass Easy's daughter....

That said, any of the Neomonde's would work, specially since I never seem to be able to make lunch. Today probably won't be any different since I'm in the office, and free, but apparently I forgot to bring my wallet in today.

I was suggesting the Neomonde near the fairgrounds (Beryl Rd.). Never been to the N. Raleigh location and don't know if they have outdoor seating.

The N. Raleigh location is about as far for me as AGP.

I'll be at the Raleigh Neomonde (Beryl Rd.) shortly after noon. Will chip in for Rugby's lunch if he shows. Would be glad to see anyone else.

Well, call it an exploratory expedition for me. Neomonde was doing a good business when I arrived just at noon. The line looked daunting but moved quickly and I ordered and paid in just over five minutes. I had just enough time to find a table on the patio and get seated before my food was delivered. Meal was tasty, and priced about like AGP's, maybe 5% higher.
