Got the stock muffler on my husaberg fe570. Just replaced it too but the little screen that sits at the outlet is long gone. Do I need it in place for inspection? The pipe is not a straight through by any means.

some mufflers have the spark arrestor at the front of the muffler and not at the end.... double check that you have something. you won't be allowed to ride if you don't have one. this is to be compliant with the BLM and the National Forest Service.

I just replaced it to be absolutely sure I would be quiet enough. The back section of the canister is a spark arrest or but I was wondering about the little screen at the back. The can even says arrestor equipped on it

Just make sure they can't poke a long rod all the way through the muffler. That's how they check...

Thirty additional spots have been added, for a total of 530 spots! That means that 41 spots are now left!

I went to the D37 / final LABV planning meeting last night and got a sneak peek at the Day 1 map and rollchart

Y'all are gonna dig the commemorative major award for this 30th anniversary running. Very cool

Perfect. The can isn't an open baffle so it should pass. Thanks for the info

Muffler check?

I have done B-V a couple of times and have never had a noise check. They just looked at my bike and saw that that it had a plate and lights..Wasn't even asked to start it...Other events I've gone to they used a Db meter..

Maybe so, but every year that I've ridden the LAB2V all they did was poke a rod down the end of the pipe to ensure some type of screen was in place.

Won't make it this year, but it's a fun 2 days!

Is that worse than being pulled over by the cop on a bicycle on the Strip?
