Or there's the Chicago Creek Road 103 out of Idaho Springs, up to Echo Lake. Or exploring ugly ol' West Mag.

Looks like I'm not going to make it in time. Home improvement project is taking too long. Hope you all have fun.

Glad you made it back safe, Jim! All accounted for in Idaho Springs, no major issues, AFAIK.

Just watch out for having a cell or radio antenna on your helmet. I think the guy who got struck by a bolt out in Washeeton had one or the other:

Fun ride all. Thanks again Ed for putting this on.

I hope everyone makes it home safe and sound. Sorry to hear about the chain explosion Jim.

It was great to see many old friends and make a couple new ones.

BTW: C group, you ROCK.

My headlights and face shield suck. Funny, they work OK during the day.

Super fun ride! And dinner with everyone. We had a really lovely ride home going back the same way. The stars are amazing tonight, with no moon.

Thanks Geek, that was a hoot. My clutch cable made it all the way to Morrison before it completely broke. Pretty much done with it by then anyway.

Next year I need some real lights.

Thanks to all who made it! I rolled in at 3:15 to puppy kisses and a cold beer. Special thanks to Ken & Jimmy(?) for helping me up on the climbs, and Geek, FlyingWombat, and DirtBro, for the amazing 'nightcap'! One to remember, for sure! Those Enchiladas...glad I made it home OK...

209 miles on the GPS, left at 1:15pm, home at 3:15am. Nice day
