What defines the ladies tour? I might be interested in this.

Rick: I'm going to be on the 500 this year. I'm looking forward to riding with the dual squadrons (assuming I don't accidentally ride in front of Paul and get caught on fire)

Asa: it isn't a "ladies tour" exactly although the ladies tend to be smarter than us so they usually choose this other route

We generally run two (or 3) routes.

One goes up and over Kingston... usually with a bunch of single track thrown in where ever possible.
The other does more of a dirt road route - Mammouth Gulch/Apex/Oh My God Road.

So would 2013 be #7?

Have tentative plans to be out of town, but if not, then IN for this.

Cathy's ankle probably won't be ready for this, so I'll probably take the 5 and you and AntiPaul can light the path for us mortals with stocker's..

DR350 here, why do you ask? I did the A ride last year on a borrowed 350, stock light, and thought it was fantastic! I have no desire to run insane lighting. Riding ST at night with just the low-beam on was, well, more intimate than lighting up the forest, and everyone around you. It was kind of annoying, to tell the truth, and way cool running low lights through the ghost-trees. YMMV, but check out my vids from last year's ride. Bright lights don't prevent crashes

I've got my WR250r and I hold a candle in front for aux lighting. I have ridden this on KLX300 mostly stock, and a heavily broken, I mean clapped out, no wait I mean heavily modified KLR650 completing the "A" ride till dawn.

Remember the year we were up at the Rock House at 12,000ft and there was a full moon so bright it was like daylight?

"Hey let's ride with our lights off!"

that didn't work so well
