Thanks,
CODE 111 means.... "order accepted"

i'm sure others here can give more accurate details (like those who work at bmw dealerships, of course)

if yours was built on 8/16.... it'll be in florida 6 weeks from now
from germany
from new jersey
with customs and all that

of course.....
ATLANTIC WEATHER WILL AFFECT THIS DATE...
as you can imagine

the trip is "BATCHED"
so OUR bikes will be on the same boat, i guess... even though mine will be built THIS week, probably

Between production codes 112 and 150 you will have a window during which you should be able to make changes to your order...

Status Code 150 denotes that the production has already started at the factory so no more changes to the original order are allowed...

Hope this helps.
it helps a lot
thanks for your expertise on the matter
it is much appreciated

Thanks much for the insight.
I'm hopeful on the 6 weeks. I'm signed up to ride the Big Tex Rally on October 18th, and I'll need to get 600 miles on it and get the service done in time to ride from Florida to Texas.

Talking 2014 gsw.

Ordered mine on August 8. Status 112 as of last week.

My options are:
Color NA5. Racing Red
ZTG. Technology Package
233. Touring Package
650. Enduro ASC

According to my dealer the only factory option missing are the wire wheels, which I did not want. (I have a KTM 690R for "serious" off-road riding).

I've been told to expect delivery first week in October.

[Paraphrased]: The bike is sensitive to the type and correct level of oil and the only approved oil until further notice is Castrol Power 1 Racing SAE 5W-40 API SL/JASO MA2.

Great find! Thanks for sharing. I wonder if this means some BMW dealers/service centers don't use the right oil as most of these issues miraculously appear after the first oil change?...

so.....
at MY dealer
in florida
there was NO PLACE to order the ENDURO ASC separately
it supposedly came with it already

what gives?
my dealer is a busy place where lots of bikes are sold and the general manager is my friend and has been ordering for more than a decade
so....
how is it possible that HE saw something different for 2014 bikes than yours did?

I'll bet your bike will have Enduro ASC, I didn't ask for it, and it's included on my build sheet as a no charge option, along with: 716 New Model

i do think that the 2014 bike build sheets are vastly different than those of 2013
i say both
the numbers have changed
the inclusions and exclusions changed
what a pain in the ass to be a dealer/sales person when bmw changes EVERYTHING from year 1 to 2 of a new bike... odd as can be, quite frankly

I (like most at my dealership) made it easy for the dealer. I want one with everything. And the 2013 is still doing fine and only scheduled to be changed by a 2015 in the spring of 2015.

the bike is doing fine
but, the ordering sheet and the way the "packages" have been put together has changed dramatically... for whatever reason
at least for US ORDERING
maybe in EUROPE, the packages have the same NAMES and NUMBERS
we have NEITHER from last year

Clearwater,
You are right about the changes from last year. At least in the US, it is very confusing at this point as there is no BMW bike "configurator" or any ordering info available to us, even on the BMW website.

I just listed the codes right out of the copy of the "vehicle inquiry" that my dealer gave me.

I think that Sarhog is right in saying that your bike will have it, but it wouldn't hurt to confirm with your dealer.

My copy also shows #716. "New Model" at the bottom, before Net Total (blank)

No pricing info as of last week. My deal is based on some discount from whatever MSRP ends up.

I too have a pretty good relationship with my dealer, as this is my third GS out of six BMW motorcycles purchased in the last sixteen years at this dealer.
