My Dad lives in Palm Harbour, but we always stay on Clearwater beach (Sheraton, or Marriott Suites). I was out there in September, with a rented Camaro SS, and got 140mph down the CCC one night on the way back from the movies at Woodlands Square!

Greg,

Guess your new bike is "waiting-for-the-Willhelmsen"! Bet all your new bikes shipped from Germany comes via the SS Willy.

Maybe you could say history repeats itself every 7 years - almost to the date. Will stay tuned to this thread to welcome your new GS home. Hope the wait isn't too long.

Not going to tell you who wrote this post - can you guess? A hint - check the link to the thread when you last were waiting for a bike shipped from Germany.

i'm sure others here can give more accurate details (like those who work at bmw dealerships, of course)

Advised by dealer that mine is code 190 now, not too sure but I think it's been built and is awaiting packaging or has been packed waiting transport to port.
Can anybody confirm this?

ETA is supposed to be late October, early November.

Getting a bit excited now....

Per my dealer, code 190 is "in transit". Mine has been code 190 for a week and a half.

yesterday, apparently, mine had NOT changed status is 1+ weeks... but, was told by my friend and long-time GM at that dealership that the status can CHANGE 3 TIMES IN A DAY and will still "SHIP" on time.
i am hoping to pick it up 5 weeks from tomorrow.... (saturday, october 5th)
we'll see how that plan goes
