Since SuRprise has been defined as the center of the playing field, that narrows it down to anywhere around the entire perimeter.

Use the context clues....
I'm fresh off the injury list, no hard riding for me yet.
The last tag was where?
I picked it up today, and set the new one in the same trip.
I live on the east side, though that hasn't stopped me from venturing west.
That geology is pretty unique, as is the horse stable.
Happy hunting :)

I know where it's at. I was just agreeing with jtwest that the clue wasn't much of a clue.

NW PHeonix Photo tag

Alright, after much thought I have decided to do the only (hopefully) rule change.
Starting now:
Range is 100 miles from Surprise not 50.

I tried to create a boundary map, but my mapping program will not go over 50 miles in a radius direction. Maybe someone else will have the ability to create a new one.

How about this?

Why did you decide to double the playing field size JT?

Location question

What difficulty level are we needing to keep the location at? I have some crazy places but there are only a few people who will ever be able to ride to them.

I have several reasons but mostly because I notice after looking at the old playing field a quarter of it is city streets. and (oddly enough) thats where most of the players are. Im hoping this will cause a broader variation of terrain, which hasnt been too bad so far, but still seemed confined to the outskirts of phoenix.

Use your best judgement. Im sure many people in the area want a good challenge but we dont want a total stall. Thanks for asking.

The other two AZ tag games have completely died. One sits down at Arivaca lake and has been there since April of 2013. The other one is a street version that seems to have 0 interest. One of the things I liked about yours JT, was that the playing field was relatively small and confined. It made the tags seem achievable. I hope increasing the area doesn't stagnate the game like the other two. Perhaps you should edit the title of this thread to reflect the new playing field to generate more interest... something like Central AZ photo tag.

Good point and I agree. I was a little worried that that might happen. Thought about moving the central point but that wouldnt help. Lets see how it goes.

Dam! That's a tiny horse. Is Mr. Ed's last name Stewart, by chance?
