Maybe I could trailer you on the slab using the the SBCruiser... Then you get the tag, we load back up and stop at Star Dollars on the way home...I have a spare...! Your more than welcome to it... I thought about posting this but decided to hold off until I get Knobbies. Enjoy the game!

Yeh, well, I'd go get this tomorrow but I'm not finding anything on the inspectors site for this one. I have also been unable to locate any used tire dealers in the suspected mileage range from the last clue or any specialized window awning companies. I did find one listing for a quaint stone cottage with great A/C for rent though... unfurnished!

Phew, what a relief to know. I was really worried that this restaurant was not being held current in it's inspections.

I went on Google maps and typed in uncle tom's cabin. It took me somewhere in Canada. I have no idea where this is.

Uncle $%^& Tom? Damn, this is a hard freaking tag to locate! Even googled "tires on roofs of stone cabins in Arid-Zona!" Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote Uncle Tom's cabin, no connection I could find... Is Uncle Tom a reference to someone you guys know? I searched through AZ Tom's stuff, he's in Prescott... Looked like Forbidden one took the photo in front of wild horse sometime in the Morning cause the shadow was from east to west. The Cabin shot looks like it's around 1 to 2pm. I can't help myself, I like a treasure hunt... Hot? $%^&*@! Must, locate, tag......

I read the book and they definitely don't visit Arizona so it can't be THE Uncle Tom's Cabin. Maybe he was trying to get us to ride to the Mississippi River?

Based on the shadows, I was guessing the claimed tag was taken at about 10a.m. The new tag appears to be around noonish and the time on his post (most probably made when he got back home) is about 1:30. If he was traveling on the pavement and did an out n back, that's 3.5 hours. Take half that 1.75 hrs. at 65 mph, that's a max distance of 115 miles from the previous tag. Of course there are a bunch of other variations to consider but that at least gave me a better idea of where to look since the clue was pretty weak. That could be west all the way to where the 60 and I-10 connect or south nearly to Marana... both of which would be at the outermost boundaries of the game... typical of Jeff.
The scenery looks typical of what you would find around Tonopah but I've yet to find a little squre with black circles on the roof via any aerial program and I have not found any landscape similar to the two little peaks in the background.

I was hoping this would end like a good Sherlock episode where Cumberbatch would come up with an answer through some epic amount of deductive reasoning.
