What the hell.... I just happened on to this spot yesterday. Was not even certain if this was the correct Crown King rock. Get back to my computer about 4pm. to see that it's already been moved. I'm not good at this.
I did not see any fresh scooter tracks so I took a pic, just in case.

I had already put in nearly 5 hours on the pegs at this point. You could say I came the round-about way to this point... Amazon creek, Roberts Roost, Bradshaws Grave, Copperolis, Box Canyon of Castle Creek, Walker Gulch, Champie Ranch. ...and assorted other no-name routes. Some were tough SOBs and two turnarounds because of Rough Rocky Uphills. Banged my skidplate hard on two big drops. Then there was this one gate on this steep damn hill that I will remember for a while.
The hill was so steep I could not get back on and the front brake was pushing rocks as I walked/stumbled it down to a flatter spot.
This camera did not have the date set correctly, likely about 12:30.
Took the "expressway" home way home via Walker Gulch Road & Buckhorn Road with a few side excursions.

As I was headed south just past Yarnell, I saw the road work signs and that fresh oil and jumped off on Mina rd/Old Stagecoach rd and came in the north side of Wickenburg. I was going to take Constellation but got tired and decided to slab it the rest of the way. Beautiful day for a ride up higher.

I was at the CK rock at 10:30 and IF, Jeff went up to get it before he realized it had been moved, I'm guessing he would have been there about 1:40.
Cool route. I'm going to have to see if I can trace it.

This was my track from yesterday... I went up your nemesis hill again yesterday Toowoomba.

I don't recall seeing a blue KLR. When? Where? Could have been Kevin... he rides a blue one.

Hey MEFADV, welcome back, sounds like you had a hell of a ride! I would have loved to have been able to watch all the action yesterday from way above the earth... I guess one day... I'm sure you got some beautiful cactus flowers and fauna pictures to share, at least I hope you do

No, honestly I think that's a cute couple, not as cute as DK & Toowoomba, but I love their digs...

Awesome! I was for sure this was another lonely little structure out in the middle of nowhere that was going to take a couple prayers and several rabbits feet to find. Nice going.

Looks like you found somebody quite talented in the metallurgical arts.

NW PHeonix Photo tag

I was tormented by which way to go. I didnt want to be lame and keep it in town so I headed to the west residence to ponder when something peaked my interest. Left after Mr Lanford had died I found this just before it was dropped off.

Allright Toowoomba. Get to working on this one! JT's clues are in a class all their own. He once tried to link Aleister Crowley to a hiway in Wickenburg involving a dizzy horse!
