Both nice them routes altough I prefer 31 from Kaslo to Trout lake and my usual little detour down the hill to Beaton....more gravel on 31A?That's Kaslo-New Denver to Hwy6 go to Sandon and then climb up to Idaho Peak. Or keep going straight instead of turning right over Carpenter Creek at Sandon.....you'll see things.

Eh! When you make up your routes, post them here, there may be more "side trips". BIG province.

There you go....150 Mile House to Likely and then on to Barkerville (summer road). No experience with that one, was out of time. Others may tell....

But Quesnel to Barkerville is a nice road, I enjoyed it even under threatening skies and not so distant lightning strikes. Gassed up in Wells and GTF out of there the same way I came just in time.

Funny, on my way to 37, I bypassed Houston both in, and on the way back! Took North Main instead.

No offence, maybe it was the "World class chicken races"!

Pretty sure that's Fort St. James, Houston has the worlds largest fly rod.

Wow!

Guys, BC is effin unbelievable! I had a fantastic trip. Did allot of asphalt. However, got in some good gravel/dirt on VC island, a little south of Houston, (NO gas in Houston!!!!!) and around New Denver and Kaslo. Thanks for the tip to Idaho Peak - one of the highlights of the trip!! BC is absolutely beautiful!!!! I'll be back!!!!!!
