Anyone have any experience with the Barrett yet? Thought I might order one up to play around with. No extra shipping to the US currently.

I had one on a Husky 610 and it was real nice. I think the price is good for the 1190. I went with the Wings shorty and really like it - the Barrett wasn't out at the time.

I like the looks of it on the R in black with the silver tip, should work fine with the racks I'm getting and the Wolfman bags. For the money I think I'll order one. If Leo Vince was making something I'd wait for them, but it will be awhile.

I couldn't be happier with mine. The sound is awesome and isn't too loud, but it barks nicely when you turn up the wick. Less than 500 bucks delivered too, so it leaves money left over for other farkles

OTOH, if the nozzled down pipe just I front of the muffler body increases back pressure, will the system think that there is too much fuel (through the O2 sensor), and lean out the mixture?
I was going to spill for barrett but glad you pointed out this very important detail. I will just stick with stock for now - cheapest solution.

The 1190 only uses the O2 info at very low speed for emissions, the performance area of the fueling system is not controlled by the O2's (unless you're running a setup like Rottweiler offers with PCV and auto tune).

I've got Barrett's on the 950 SE... love 'em! Excellent build quality, light wt., and a fantastic exhaust note.
