If it wasn't for your Van thread, I would say your a nerd with a bike rack on your bike. But since you have a sweet van thread with tons of info....I'll let you slide.

Please keep the "Frankenstein bike rack on your 950" threads to a minimum.

Hmm...

So how much stress is placed on the rear rack bolts when you go over a speed bump and have 20 lbs. of bike and 4' of leverage?

Let's see, 4 threads required for maximum strength...2 bolts with lots of threads...Ok, I deem this safe.

I mean, you can't break something else when you still have to finish your van.
