I just ordered a set from Amazon for $87.95. The 950SE clutch started slipping after some hot weather clutch abuse last weekend. Seems like a good deal. One set left per Amazon.

Brutus Jonz, a new moniker ?

I'm getting a kit for the 690.

We'll see how they perform in Copper Canyon.

Watch out for that downhill into Chinipas this time.

Any update? My clutch is slipping in top gear on the freeway (first time I've managed to hit redline in sixth on this bike, unfortunately I was only doing 75 mph). I'll probably try one of these kits.

I got it seating on the shelf if you need it now, just give me replacement when you get it.

Very kind of you, but I'm not going to have much time for riding at the moment, and my bike is due for a couple other major services as well. . . . so the clutch will probably not be the thing that holds me up. I still need to take the plates out and measure them to see if they're really worn out, or if it's the springs fault. I remember measuring them once before, and they were barely worn at all, but that was a couple years back.

I abused the hell out of it this weekend and its still working great. Singletracking it in Prescott Arizona at the dual sport event. Huge Rocky climbs and tight twisty rutted singletrack. I'm pleased with it so far.

Just got back from a road trip to California over the Thanksgiving holidays. Clutch is still performing fine. Wheelies on command and not feeling any slipping. I'll check the plates and such in a couple months to see if there is any wear.

George S. Patton Memorial Museum, Chiriaco Summit, CA -

On I-10, 30 miles East of Indio

I installed mine before a 10+ day trip in Mexico with a total mileage of over 2000 miles. Lots of full days of technical riding slipping the clutch to tame the mighty 950 on slippery slopes. Worked just fine

Hi,
I was wondering if you could update us on what kind of mileage you put on the clutch kit and how it's holding up.

Thank you
