Since we are on the MSF instructor came rolling into the parking lot holding a cellphone up to his ear and waving at the students with the other hand. Quality instruction that weekend, let me tell you.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen pedestrians walk across streets in Washington DC without ever looking both ways or even 10' ahead of themselves...and this was before cell phones became popular.

I'm totally with you on this one. It simply blows my mind that anyone would want ANY form of phone contact while on their bike. One main reason I ride is because I can be alone in it. It baffles me that helmets are now Bluetooth capable. Worst idea I have ever heard of. When the ride is done, I check my phone. When I'm riding, too freakin bad. We survived for decades of motorized travel without constant phone contact, why do we "need" it now? I must be gettin old.
